Gamma review for freelancers
AI presentations, documents and simple web pages from a prompt.
Our review
Gamma generates presentations, documents, simple websites and social posts from a prompt or an imported file, using AI credits. Its pricing page lists a free plan with 400 credits at signup and up to 10 slides per prompt, Plus at $12 per seat per month ($9 on annual billing) with 1,000 monthly credits and no Gamma branding, and Pro at $25 ($18 on annual) with custom branding and API access. Decks can be exported to PDF, PPTX and Google Slides. It can speed up a first draft of a client pitch or report, but you should rewrite the text, check every fact and adjust the design to the client's brand.
Pros
- Free plan to try it
- Exports to PDF, PPTX and Google Slides
- Plus removes Gamma branding
Cons
- Free credits are a one-time allowance
- Generated text and visuals need editing
- Custom branding needs Pro
