Copy.ai has moved from a simple copywriting tool toward a go-to-market AI platform for sales and marketing teams. Its pricing page lists a Chat plan at $29 per month billed monthly, or $24 per month billed annually, with up to five seats, unlimited words in chat, unlimited chat projects and access to OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini models. Workflow automation starts on Growth at $1,000 per month billed annually, which is out of reach for most freelancers. For a solo copywriter the Chat plan is the realistic option, and it competes directly with ChatGPT, Claude and Jasper. As with any AI writer, drafts need fact-checking and a voice edit.
